Second semester is here!

by Alexus Moreno

Second semester has officially begun. It’s a little weird being back. After having a month off, I feel like I have to get use to EVERYTHING all over again. However, I’m sure it won’t take as long as it did first semester.

Needless to say it is good to be back! I’m really excited for this semester. I promised myself I’d be more social and actually do people stuff and work harder and really focus on me and make sure I make this semester a successful one.

One of the things I am most happy about this semester is that I have a job! And it’s awesome! I was hired at KTSW, which is the radio station here at Texas State (yes, our school has a radio station that is broadcasted in many areas.) Working there is my first step to success … I honestly couldn’t be more excited.

I want to encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zones this semester and challenge themselves and meet as many people you can. It will lead to GREAT things. First semester is done and gone, so if you had a bad first semester, do yourself a favor and make those changes so this semester can be 100 times better than the first one. If you had a great first semester … awesome! Let the good times keep on rolling.

Again I am glad to be back and I am glad to be back writing to everyone who reads these blog posts! I really appreciate it, because writing makes me happy and I hope you all enjoy what we write. To all the new freshmen and to all the new people who just transferred here … you are going to love it! Make the best of everything, and most importantly, do what makes you happy! WELCOME BACK, BOBCATS!
