This week has been disastrously long and the stresses have nearly killed us all, but guess what Bobcats? Tomorrow is HOMECOMING! The excitement in the air is buzzing and everyone is excited, at least I am. I haven’t been able to make it to a game this season due to prior engagements, so what better game to go to than Homecoming?
This week has been so hectic and I have accumulated a mountain of work on my desk. College has finally arrived. Once I get to the bottom of the “Homework Stack” I find myself staring at entirely new pile of work to get done. The never-ending cycle, I guess. I had a test this week, which went pretty smoothly, but the biology test haunting me next week is going to be more of an issue. But for this weekend, this moment, that test doesn’t exist. Maybe that’s not the right way to approach it, but for now I don’t really have the energy to deal with it another way.
I have a couple of long nights ahead of me this weekend, but that’s just the pluses and minuses of the fun. Tonight I planned on going to the Soap Box derby, but found myself in a mini coma after the stresses of the week. Unfortunately I missed that, but there’s always next year. Plan B is to finish a majority of this homework so that I can have fun all day tomorrow and reserve Sunday for biology review, which is much needed. I still don’t recognize the significance of that subject in the world of marketing, but that is a different rant.
I strongly encourage all of you guys to come out tomorrow and enjoy in the company of your fellow Bobcats at the football game versus Idaho. Come out and show your school spirit, participate in the wonders of tailgating, and just experience something new. I am approaching this whole thing with an optimistic and open mind, just hoping to enjoy some football with some really great people. I don’t know if y’all remember me saying to go out and try new things and have an objective to accomplish; my objective for this Homecoming game is to meet new people and hopefully set up the foundations to new friendships. I can’t wait to see the events unfold tomorrow, and I especially can’t wait to interact with all you lovely Bobcats. EAT’EM UP, EAT’EM UP, GO CATS GO!
