I chose Texas State because … when I came to visit it felt like a small school even though it is big, and because it felt like a good fit for me.
What I like most about Texas State is … how everyone is friendly, and that the school feels connected.
What surprised me most during my first week of classes is … how low-key it was, and how nice my professors are.
In five years from now, I will … hopefully have a job in broadcast journalism and living in New York City.
Favorite color: Blue. I’m not really sure why but it’s a color that I have always liked.
If I were granted three wishes, I’d ask for:
1. a happy and successful life
2. my family and friends to have a great life
3. to be able to make a difference in the world
Pet peeves: I have a few pet peeves, but my biggest one is when people don’t listen.
Favorite book: I have a couple. I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger, and Dispatches from the Edge by Anderson Cooper.
Favorite TV characters: I love Michael Scott from “The Office” because he is so dumb and hilarious.
Favorite music: I pretty much listen to everything.
Favorite movie genre: I love comedies because I love to laugh, but I also really like suspense movies.
