I chose Texas State because …
I loved the environment and it was away from home but still fairly close…I’m a family gal…couldn’t imagine being any further.
What I like most about Texas State is … the people…everyone is soooooo nice and welcoming here at Texas State no matter what year they are in. I haven’t met one rude person! I love it.
What surprised me most during my first week of classes is … how awesome my professors and schedule were…I seriously thought I was going to have mean professors who would hit us with textbooks and I thought I would not have time to do anything! But it all worked out really well.
In five years from now, I hope I’ll be … graduated from college with a well-paying job that is something I love doing and maybe in a band or something. That would be super cool!
Favorite color: I like the color black…because it’s the color of my soul…just kidding…black goes with everything…you could never go wrong with it!
If I were granted three wishes, I’d ask for:
1. a family trip to Hobbiton, New Zealand (Lord of the Rings nerd)
2. a vintage cherry red Ford Bronco
3. My dog has a really hard time walking due to a disease she has…so my last and greatest wish would be for her to walk perfectly again!
Pet peeves: I can’t stand when people smack their food and chew with their mouths open…literally…can’t…stand…it.
Favorite book: The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Favorite TV characters: I love Jess from “The New Girl”! Or if anyone watches “Sons of Anarchy”…Jax…he’s great…and I also like Chuck Bass from “Gossip Girl”…because he’s Chuck Bass, and Sam and Dean from “Supernatural.”
Favorite music: I love love love classic rock and anything bluesy. I also like indie rock…some of my favorites are The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash…the list goes on forever.
Favorite movie genre: I love romance movies…it’s actually really bad, but I enjoy the most cheesy romance movies ever.
